I have come to understand that life has little meaning if one does not give the best of oneself in favor of others. Every individual, every being, is just a portal that leads to humanity itself that we all shape. Human calamities are excellent opportunities to help us become more humane through compassion; a compassion that can be expressed by any act, word, or positive thinking generated for the affected. AIDS is one of these given opportunities, an opportunity to activate our compassion, not only by providing comfort and support to the 0+ but also by promoting education and global awareness. Although AIDS is best known as Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome I prefer to call it Sistema Interdisciplinario para Desarrollar Amor (SIDA is the Spanish acronym for AIDS: Interdisciplinary System to Developing Love)... because it includes us all, both in behavior and in applying the various human activities for the benefit of others, and for oneself upon learning that we, indeed are part of "that" humanity.

He entendido que la vida tiene poco sentido si no se da lo major de sí mismo en pro de los otros. Cada individuo, cada ser, es tan sólo un portal que nos lleva a la humanidad misma que todos conformamos. Las calamidades humanas son excelentes oportunidades para ayudarnos a ser más humanos a través de la compasión; la misma la manifestamos con cualquier acto, palabra o pensamiento positivo que generemos por ellas/para ellas. El SIDA es una de estas oportunidades dadas, oportunidad para activar nuestra compasión, no sólo al brindarle confort y ayuda a los 0+, sino también al fomentar la educación y la conciencia mundial. Aunque el SIDA es mejor conocido como Síndrome de Inmuno Deficiencia Adquirida yo prefiero llamarle Sistema Interdisciplinario para Desarrollar Amor... porque nos incluye a todos tanto en conducta como en aplicación de las diversas disciplinas en pro de los otros, en pro de uno mismo al saberse parte de la humanidad.
